BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Melissa has 15 years of experience recruiting within manufacturing.  Her nonprofit experience includes Founder of a free community meal, 6 years as a youth group leader, 2 years as an after-school volunteer with high-risk youth, and now a mentor at The Immokalee Foundation. She is active in our community through pickleball, golf, and lady’s bible study.  She has been deeply moved by the kindness and generosity displayed by WB. In the brief period she has resided here, she has become acutely aware of the significant poverty in Lee County. Recognizing the potential of our neighborhood to make a positive impact in Lee County, she is committed to spearheading efforts to bridge the gap between those who are fortunate and those who are in need.

Debbie is a retired partner from EY and served as the IRS Division Commissioner for Large Business and International tax administration. She consulted with the International Monetary Fund where she served as a lead technical advisor, and as a leadership consultant for a minority woman owned small business. Debbie served as the board chair for Counterpart International, a global non-profit and as the president of the Association of Former IRS Executives. She was also a volunteer mentor with the Tiger Woods Foundation, working with youth from underserved communities and on the advisory board for the Women’s Leadership Institute. Debbie had been seeking a way support her community, beyond personal giving. Being a part of the founding team of volunteers to form WBCN seemed like a perfect fit!

Maureen is a retired executive with 38 years of experience in the clinical laboratory testing industry. Her most noteworthy accomplishment was spearheading the development and implementation of the Prescription Drug Monitoring program for Quest Diagnostics Inc. Maureen Co-Chairs the bi-annual Book Sale for the "Friends of South Park Library". She has also been an active volunteer with Light of Life Mission in Pittsburgh for 3 years in the Women/Children's Center, Rescue Dog Food Truck, Clothing Donation Center, Meal Ministry and Yinzer 4.12 K race. She is active in the WildBlue community through Bible study, book club, aqua aerobics and WBCN .

Rick has had a 40-year career in the sports industry as a media and sponsorship sales executive with WFAN Radio, Madison Square Garden, New York Jets, ESPN Radio, and New York Red Bulls. He currently sits on the board of the Forward Progress Foundation, a 501.C entity established in New Brunswick, NJ. This is a charity created by Jonathan Casillas, a retired 10-year NFL veteran player and 2-time Super Bowl Champion. The charity’s focus is to help the underserved children of the New Jersey community through strategic fundraising efforts, as well as an annual football camp experience fully funded by Jonathan, the Forward Progress Foundation, and the community. 

Jan’s career was a Vice President, Media Planning at an ad agency. Her volunteer experience includes Sunrise Drive Elementary School PTA - Vice President and Committee Chair, Chaired the Parents as Reading Partners, Holiday Boutique, Yearbook and Kindergarten Registration committees, & Crop for Cystic Fibrosis Fundraising Event – Chairperson. She also was an Independent College Consultant to assist with student scholarships.

Madonna’s career was with her family business, Millington Lockwood Business Interiors. She currently serves as an executive board member for the Junior League of Buffalo. She has also served on executive Committees for The Decorators' Show House, Kevin Guest House Hospital Hospitality House as the Board of Directors Fundraising Chair. Her other volunteer experience includes parent advocate for the Commission on Special Education at Orchard Park Central School District, P.U.N.T. Pediatric Cancer Collaborative, Buffalo State University Alumni Foundation, Roswell Park Alliance, and Orchard Park Country Club Women's 9 hole Golf Board. Her hobbies are
Yoga, Decorating, Golf, Cooking, Traveling, and spending time with family especially her grandchildren.

 Susan spent most of her career at a large insurance company in underwriting operations, leadership training and development, communications, and organizational change management. She acted as her son’s high school booster club secretary for three years, volunteered regularly at the Midwest Food Bank, and loves fostering rescue dogs. Susan has a special place in her heart for animals and victims of dementia. She is most excited about participating in hands-on service projects with others in the WildBlue community.

Susan and her husband, Tim, have been residents of WildBlue since August 2020.
 

 Kristin has been involved in nonprofits for over 30 years. She has worked with children and adults with disabilities as well as seniors while owning / founding two senior care companies: Home Health Care and Geriatric Care Management services. Kristin was a board member at Southdale YMCA in MN and splits her time between FL and MN volunteering for Gulf Coast Humane Society, FL; Community Cooperative, FL; Interfaith Outreach Services, MN.

Dante is originally from Ohio and has been a resident of Florida for 7 years.  He is the owner of a small Ohio incorporated software/credit card processing company.  He loves being involved in the WB community through pickleball, golf, cards, and other community activities.  In the past, has been active in coaching youth sports and several events and activities through his church, including Divorce Care. He is looking forward to giving back in the WB community.

Bill is the Senior Vice President and Statutory Controller for American Platinum Property and Casualty Insurance Company (APPCIC) and Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Company (UPCIC). Prior to this, Bill was the Chief Financial Officer for Seminole Casualty Insurance Company, a position he held from 2007 to 2011. In total, he has nearly 35 years’ experience in various capacities within the insurance industry, including positions with Bristol West (part of the Farmers Insurance Group) and the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI).

Bill is originally from New York but has lived in Florida for over 40 years. He has been a resident of SWFL since 2016 and a full-time resident of WildBlue since 2021. He is an active member of the community and is looking forward to supporting the community’s charitable efforts through WBCN.
